Brief was to try to design an annual calendar for 2015 that somehow improves upon the trusted gridded monthly calendar.
Dates are laid out in two vertical columns, allowing plenty of space around the page to be able to add those very important notes.
A key system was also added at the bottom so you can easily mark at a glance what sort of events you might have that month.
I also took a colour for every month. Choosing tones that best suit that time of year. For example the gloomy grey of January or the nice tones of Orange you would see during Autumn in October.
